This complements the light, neutral colour scheme of the kitchen area, creating a peaceful aura of space ideal for preparing home cooked meals. The kitchen comes equipped with all the necessary appliances and utensils, for a truly home away from home experience. The adjoining dining and living area further elaborate on the neutral hues, combining eye-catching pops of colour through its feature wall and décor. The dining area seats 10 persons comfortably, while the living area provides further sources of entertainment through its flat-screen cable TV. Villa Ida boasts five spacious bedrooms – the main bedroom is embellished with warm, homely colours, and equipped with an en-suite bathroom with shower and bath tub. The villa features 2 more double bedrooms both modern in style yet not lacking in comfort with one of them having a complete en-suite bathroom with shower cubicle. Furthermore, the house comprises of two triple bedrooms providing further resting space. These bedrooms follow the same warm colour palette as the other bedrooms, with stylish modern furniture in corresponding neutral colours. The floor comes compete with further 2 more family bathrooms both with shower cubicle.
An indoor pool can also be found on the lower floor at Villa Ida, complete with jacuzzi jets, as well as a sauna for a truly relaxing, spa-like experience. Free WiFi and TV are available throughout the villa. The villa comes complete with wall hung a/cs in each room including gym and games room. Also free parking is available at the premises for 2 family cars.
Minimum booking is four nights, prices will be quoted pro-rata according to the season. Deposit of 40% is required on confirmation. Preferred deposit payment methods are by bank transfer or by Pay-Pal. While the remaining balance is to be settled ideally 4 weeks prior arrival.
A refundable breakage deposit of 700euro is to be paid on check in either to be settled by visa or cash. The security deposit will be refunded via credit card if paid as such after a maximum of 30 days. Or via bank transfer - if paid in cash - with bank charges incurred to the beneficiary bank account [should s/he not be in SEPA country] after a maximum of 15 days. Thus the beneficiary bank details will be required to refund the deposit.
The house includes basic water and electricity (300kWh) supply for the whole stay which in most cases would be more than enough, however, in the rare cases when this amount is exceeded, electricity will be charged extra at a rate of 0.35 euros per unit (1kwh). Please do note that to utilize the heating system of the indoor pool an extra 450euro will be required.
Due to cleaning necessities, the check-in time for the apartments is generally 2.00pm and the check-out is at 10.00am however if there are no arrivals on the same day the apartment can be kept for longer.
We do supply a set of linen per each bed and a couple of towels per person. It is then up to one's discrepancy to wash them as much often as desired. Each apartment is adorned with a washing machine and it can be used as often as desired. Please note that the rental price does not include the Environmental Contribution tax, introduced on June 2016 amounting to €0.50c per night up to a maximum of €5 for each continuous stay in the Maltese Islands. This applies to 18-year-old and older.
A security deposit has to be paid on check in via credit - preauthorization. It can be settled in cash as well but it will be refunded via bank transfer after a maximum of 15 working days. The deposit is NOT applied toward rent; however, it is fully released provided the following provisions are met.
We operate a fair usage policy. The limited allowance is very generous and should more than suffice on normal usage. However, if lights and particularly air-conditioning are unnecessarily left on when not in the property or if the water is left running for no reason the allowance will be exceeded. Air-conditioning should NOT be left running if doors, windows or other apertures are left open as this will cause consumption to spike. Both electricity and water meters will be read on arrival and departure to calculate the usage. In the event that you have used more than the allowance for the property, the additional usage will be charged at current rates and deducted from your security bond [electricity will be charged extra at a rate of 0.35 Euros per unit (1kwh)]
Please note that for longer stays of 28 days or more the above does not apply. Water, electricity, gas has to be paid as much as consumed. This is subject to one's own consumption rate. Water comes at a flat rate of 35euro a month.
The maximum number of guests is strictly limited to the number of people booked. Cot and highchair are also available upon request
NO other guests are allowed to stay in the property at ANY time. If additional, non-paying guests are found to be staying or utilising the facilities you will be charged one night per person accordingly.
Events and parties are allowed on the condition of pre-approval and subject to additional costs and cleaning fees. Any event without pre-authorisation will be considered a breach of the rules and charged accordingly.
Rates include a set of linen per bed and 2 towels per person. It is up to one's discrepancy to wash them as often as desired using the washing machine available for use on the property. Cleaning of the apartment is done prior to the check in and after the checkout.
While linen and bath towels are included in the rental rate, daily maid service is not. However, it is available at an additional rate, thus if needed kindly contact us. We do not permit bath towels or linens to be taken from the property. You can be charged up to 20euro per linen/towel should they be soiled or damaged.
Any reservation obtained under false pretense will be subject to forfeiture of advance payment, deposit and/or rental money, and the party will not be permitted to check in.
Any exceptions to the above-mentioned policies must be approved in writing in advance.
The sound limit should not exceed 60dB at ANY time. At this level, you can enjoy the music without annoying the neighbours. No music should be played before 9:00 am or after 8:00 pm. We understand you are here to have fun and we will do our utmost to help. However excessive noise such as screaming, shouting or similar behavior should be avoided.
Swimming is at your own risk as no lifeguard is on duty. The pool depth is clearly marked and a life aid is available on site. STRICTLY NO DIVING OR JUMPING IN THE POOL! For heated pools please note that for safety and hygienic reasons as per legislation L.N. 135 of 2008.the indoor pool can be raised at a maximum of 28 to 30 degrees at all times.
Parking on the road is permitted at no additional cost.
This home is on a combination of normal drainage and septic systems. The septic system is very effective; however, it will clog up if improper material is flushed. DO NOT FLUSH anything other than toilet paper. No feminine products should be flushed at any time. If it is found that feminine products or any other materials other than toilet paper have been flushed and clog the septic system, you will be charged with damage fees of up to two hundred euros (EUR200).
Meeting point is at the apartment with one of our Reps. Details regarding your check-in will be sent over to you a few days prior to your arrival. Should there be any change or missing details please do inform us. Check-in is very flexible - normally at 14hrs to the latest 22hrs. Any earlier check-in has to be upon request and confirmed via email. Later check-in after 22hrs is also accepted provided that we are allowed to organise the transfer. Transfer fee varies depending on the number of people. Should one decide to opt for another mode of transportation after 22hrs, there will be a 35euro host fee payable on check in to the host.
Fair Usage Policy - This is sufficient for all normal activities, e.g. web browsing and emailing, but may be exceeded if there is a significant amount of activities such as video streaming. If more download capacity is required then it may be possible to purchase additional GBs. Please note: any illegal internet activity, e.g. peer-to-peer file sharing, will result in the internet access being closed down for the duration of your stay.
