Visiting Malta is an exciting experience pretty much any time of the year. Yet to get a full scope of what a Maltese summer actually entails, you should definitely visit us during the months of June-September. Our summer months are a whirlwind of beach barbecues, pool parties, local feasts, music festivals, concerts and upscale soirees at Malta’s hottest beach clubs.

We don’t want you to miss out… so with summer just around the corner, we have compiled a list of Malta’s hottest beach clubs for you to check out. Unwind with a mojito in hand (or a bottle of Dom Perignon) on a cushy lounge chair listening to relaxing Mediterranean vibes in the background, surrounded by breathtaking views of our beautiful isles.

MedAsia Playa, Qui Si Sana, Sliema

Spacious and central, MedAsia Playa is a perfect place for some summer relaxin’ with delicious nibbles and abundance of drinks at your hand and the sea at your feet.
Literally! With its exotic vibe, cool tunes and culinary wonders, MedAsia takes the beach club experience to a different level.
Take a look (and a taste) at their one-of-a-kind Asian Mediterranean fusion dishes at the restaurant. Sit back and enjoy a couple of their signature cocktails at the lounge. Check out their various relaxation areas: an on-site massage parlour, the Bedouin and shisha lounges, daily sunset yoga classes, comfy sunbeds and a waiter service by the pool and last but not least, their pool lido leading directly to the sea.

Make sure you stay tuned for their summer parties and events (check them out on Facebook) with the Grand Opening Party taking place on May 26, 2019, 15:00 - midnight.

1926 Beach Club, Qui-Si-Sana Seafront, Sliema

Right on the water’s edge of the Sliema Sea Front, 1926 Beach Club is an eclectic blend of summer chill vibes including fashion, music, al fresco dining and wining and endless opportunities to show off your casual-chic swimwear/beach attire.

Open between mid-May and mid-October every year, 1926 Beach Club offers full- day or half-day package deals with lunch and dinner served daily. Poolside drinks and light nibbles are also game.  For VIP sofa booths and private Gazebos, booking is a must. Whether you are in for a carefree summer-lounge by the pool or just for a quick unwind after a long day of sightseeing, 1926 Beach Club is your perfect summer hangout for kicking back and relaxing with a couple of cocktails on balmy nights under our starry Mediterranean skies.

Baia Beach Club, Little Armier, Mellieha

Set in Little Armier, an absolutely lovely corner in the beautiful north of Malta, the Baia Beach Club is one of the prettiest and most exotic beach clubs in Malta.  While getting there might a bit of a trip for you (if you are situated in Sliema, St. Julian’s area), the turquoise waters with an occasional colourful fishing boat (called luzzu in Maltese) and the stunning views of the cliffs of Gozo and Comino are definitely worth the hike: particularly for a summer evening chill with exquisite seafood, quality wine, summer tunes and a sunset watch from the Baia Beach seafront terrace.

Since 1972, Baia Team’s mission has been to introduce the breezy, stress-free Mediterranean lifestyle to the world. By continuously innovating and re-launching this Mediterranean style resort, they have created a little piece of heaven on Earth where their visitors can leave all daily stresses and worries behind and bond over good food, wine, a refreshing dip in the sea, laughter, fun and an abundance of sunshine turning the water into shimmering gold on summer afternoons. Don’t miss out on your Mediterranean summer experience! Join us at Baia Beach for a relaxing day or check out one of their legendary summer parties. (Check them out on Facebook or www.baiabeachclub.com).

Café Del Mar, Qawra

Famous for its legendary parties and music festivals as well as magnificent views of the Mediterranean Sea and St. Paul’s Island, Café del Mar is the biggest beach club in Malta (literally the most spacious) with a distinct chill vibe, an abundance of delish snack choices and indelible signature cocktails. Our personal favourites are the Shark Attack and Blue Sunset.

Perched on the water’s edge, the simple yet elegant design (by famous Mark Pace) of mostly white furniture with a grand infinity pool blending in perfectly with the Mediterranean turquoise-blues, allows for sensational sunset views further enhanced by the world famous Café del Mar chill-out albums playing in the background.

We are so excited! There is more in store for you at Café del Mar as the summer 2019 advances. If you are in Malta this May, definitely check out CDM (short for Café del Mar) Sundays with live DJs (free entrance) taking place every Sunday throughout the summer season. For jazz fans, Jazz Nights will be starting in June 2019 and continuing throughout the summer months.

And you most definitely do not want to miss the annual Champagne Showers taking place July 6-7, 2019 and MTV Malta Music Week ft. Martin Jensen at Café Del Mar on July 14, starting at 7:30 pm.
